Our History:

In February 1972, Latham Real Estate, Inc. purchased an ongoing Real Estate business and have operated in the Orange Park and Jacksonville areas since that time. We are members of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS, the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, the Clay County Builders Association, and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce.

The Company is a closely held family business with Isabel D. Latham the Chief Executive Officer. We have agents eager for the opportunity to assist you with your properties. Most importantly the company meets all the RTC, FDIC, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines and restrictions. Tobias B. Latham, Jr., SRA, CREA is the Executive Vice President.

We are a full service company with a property management division familiar with the listing, sales and management of REO properties, an appraisal division and of course, a sales division. Our twenty five years of experience and sense of cooperation and fair play has resulted in a strong business relationship with the majority of Real Estate Agents in the greater Duval and Clay County areas.

We have represented the RTC, FDIC, FNMA, FHMLC, Centrust Savings Bank, Bank United, Meritor Savings Bank, Southeast Bank, Barnett Bank, the United Postal Savings Association, Mortgage Corporation of the South, Alliance Mortgage Company, Duval Savings Bank, MGIC, Essex Savings Bank, United Guarantee PMI Insurers, Transworld Mortgage, AVCO Financial Services, Inland Mortgage Corporation, Homeside Lending, NationsBank, Wilshire Credit, as well as a host of others in the sale and marketing of REO Properties. In addition we have represented the Veterans Administration and the US Dept of HUD in the sale of their REO properties.

Relocation Companies that we have represented include Edina National REO Service, Equitable Relocation, Travelers Relocation, the CSX Railroad and Genrel Relocation Company. Our agents are trained and competent in the marketing of resales, New Homes, REO properties and relocation homes. Our primary mission is a satisfied seller and satisfied buyer.
